Sydney sprint #5. A really fun bush sprint that turned out to be quite intense. Lost a few seconds here and there but nothing super big so I was happy with the run!

Newy parkrun, second time running this course for me. I got a bit stuck at the start which was probably good though, because it meant I didnt sprint at the start like I always do, and I could overtake people instead of being the one who was overtaken! Same turn around time as last time (10.58) but finished stronger this time. Felt quite good! Put in some extra effort the last kilometer and past some people, maybe next time I should try do that push a bit earlier and see if I can hold on all the way in.

Was down in Sydney for the day so went to run the Summer series on our way home. I didnt feel to bad in the flat sections but struggled a bit uphill. Anyway good training!

Planned for 5x4 minutes but I felt quite tired, and I think the fact that it was already really warm didnt make it better! Was so slow so decided that four would be enough. Maybe the last weeks training had made me a bit too tired, seeing as I didnt do much for a few months.
