O-session in very nice area in central Finland. It felt like orienteering paradise in some parts so I enjoyed very much today! Mostly very runnable surface and varying contour formations. The legs didn't feel too bad either so this was very good training.

Note

50 min massage for the legs. I't been really long since I got massage last time. The muscles were in very bad jam, especially hamstrings and calves. Hurted quite a lot. Hope this will help.

My 7 k "test". The lightest feeling after Kainuu so decided to do a harder one. 1,5 min slower than my personal best just before Jukola. I have problems with calf/achilles so have to take e.g. downhills more safely.

I had some swelling in achilles/calf-area after yesterday's race and could not run without pain today. I've had some "unhealthy" feelings there every now and then during the summer, and the last week was very demanding for my legs. Hopefully it will get better and not worse.

Kainuu III. Poor physical feeling and mistakes on 2, 3, and 4th control. Didn't have the power to push on soft uphills and 3 min mistakes is too much.

Kainuu II. Very good performance until 15th control. Then I lost my grip badly and was quite disappointed after that. My speed seems to be very competitive now.

Kainuu o-week I. Physically demanding course and very tough race. Some unsureness in early part of the race but pushed well from halfway. I did not have my best day but I think this was a very good overall performance.
