Finnspring long, 11.7 km course, 22/61, +10 min to the lead. First start and long distance on 1:15000 scale map. Started easily and did good work, but on half way lost some of concetration and missed 3 times on a row. I was quite tired at the end, but this was ok start for the summer season. Could have orienteered 5 min faster and I can improve especially my uphill running a lot! Seems like my feeling of improved running shape is reality.

4.8 km course in 48 min so I managed just 10 min/km. I have to lower my expectations towards saturday. My running ability on stony surface is not so good, and I have lots of work to do with orienteering technique too. The shape per se feels good! :)

Long run on gravel. These are the hardest training sessions when you don't have fresh legs. That was the case today. I had to walk at some points. Felt like dried squirrel.

O-summer 2013 started! Almost snow-free, fast terrain, and sunshine. What more can you hope for? Good performance + running. 2 min mistakes

5 k "full speed" from Heikki. Not happy with my time, just 5 sec faster than in snowy new years eve when I run the first 5 k also fast. Shit.

Warm-up 15' + 4x100m downhill + 5x70m uphill full speed / 3 min + cool down. Didn't feel good while warming up but did this anyway. It seems that I've entered an era of everlasting stiffness. Should apply more recovery methods...

Skating again. The snow is melting very fast now, and my skis did not slide at all. It felt a bit tough no matter how slowly I tried to take it.

Skating. The tracks were in great condition, which is surprising at this point of year. I was feeling strong so skiing was just pure enjoyment.
