Morning run, tried to push quite hard as it has been a while since I have done anything harder.

Orienteering tempo 47:00 [4] 7.5 km (6:16 / km)

45 min o-session during the midnight sun. Just cool! I got a bit tired at the end, but feeling was better than expected after a long orienteering break. Two years ago I did the same course with full speed in 41:29.

Running warm up/down 12:00 [2] 2.0 km (6:00 / km)

Warm-up before the race. I had quite good sleep (about 3-4 hours) and the morning was just beautiful.

Orienteering race 1:48:00 [5] 19.0 km (5:41 / km)

Salpa-Jukola, last leg. Very good race, especially the first hour I felt very powerfull. Some bleeding from the nose erased my flow feeling, but I did a good fight until the finish line. On second last I did a big mistake, but luckily it did not cost any positions and managed to gain 9 positions. Overall our team did quite a solid job through the relay. After the race I noticed that I had injured my foot during the race.

Took it very safely, but did also some mistakes. I was more or less thinking about Jukola already. Physically (and I believe mentally) the feeling is strong.

The last o-session in Putilovi. I had a bit stiff legs after the previous training sessions, and the day was hot again so at least for me this was not an easy training.

Jukola training camp. Night-o-intervals with the boys. Running felt easy, orienteering was not that easy.

"Middle distance". Took it quite easily, but the weather was very hot and made it a bit harder.

Warm-up and cool down.

Mass start. The whole group had very good speed, but we had some problems with the navigation at times. Still this was an excellent race pace training in a great terrain.

Motion-orienteering event in a slow but fine terrain. Couple of small mistakes but nice still! +28 degrees.

Sprint FC qual. Bad start through the whole forest part, and the running was also a bit lazy. Very average performance.

Orienteering race 15:00 [5] 3.4 km (4:25 / km)

B-final. Much better performance and I liked the course also a lot more. Could have done maybe half a minute faster if everything went perfectly but I'm happy with this.

Back and forth. Hard wind made it a bit harder. Good easy training.

Arranging our relay and searching for a lost competitor. He made it through by himself but at least I got some more excitement on top of everything else. The last days were heavy, but all the work was worth it as our arrangements succeeded very well.

Bad sleeping for two nights and a long working day today so I was very tired. Running felt bad at start but improved a lot towards the end and I increased the speed incrementally. I was very happy with this short but fun running session after all.
