Day 1 of the US Champs on the Brown course. GT started 2 minutes behind me and I missed number 5 by a bit. GT passed me there and it was off to the races after that going back and forth with him till the 2nd to last control where I got hung up over a cliff and watched GT running under passing me again.
So he was about 2+ minutes ahead today and now about 8 overall in the head to head Flying Pig historical standings.

Day 1 of the Classic Flying Pig. This was a middle event separate from the 2018 US Champs so GT suggested we run green course today.
The first control was over a hill or two and I was exhausted from the get go.
AP showed no time loss for the course in my slow mode.
It was hilly but very nice out there.

Poplar Creek O Meet. Local event. Not feeling fast as I caught a cold from possibility the two indoor track meets. There were stairs that everyone went up, I can’t even think of all the germs spread on the hand rails.
So that my excuse and hopefully it’s a mild one.
