First time 5k trail race at CliffSide Park off Lake Michigan.
Well there were about 20-25 people and I thought I might win, till I saw this high school girl that blew the course away. She took off and I followed, poorly marked course, but good enough. Ran out to the 2k turnaround and you double back on the race. I was comfortable in 2nd place with no pressure from behind the whole time.
My watch battery was dead at the start, and asked 2nd Place male what his gps said.
Was supppsed to be some sort of country event going on after the event, but I just headed home.

Tested out my sore hip yesterday and today seemed like a go for a road ride. It was truly enjoyable, nice weather, feeling rested and strong.
