New Map for the event. Rich’s latest creation. Freeman Kane!
There are hills here in Kane county west of the city.
Used to be an old Boy Scout Camp not a forest preserve.
Map was 1:7500.
Didn’t stop me from O like my head was cut off.
Mistake to no 1 and 4.
Really screwed up 7 and after that I just walked a lot after that as the high grass as it was too exausting to continue to run.
Great looking map, lots of work had been done clearing sections that made the woods look better then they were.
A day of rain and turning colder as the meet progressed.

5k race, a bit short, small race. Had to slow down near the beginning because my HR felt like it was getting too high. Great weather till tomorrow.
