Orienteering Meet race 1:10:09 [5] *** 5.6 km (12:32 / km) +250m 10:14 / km
spiked:16/18c shoes: Icebug green #5

Miami Whitewater. Been waiting years for them to come back to this great map. Might not be so good in the summer or fall.
My run was not so fast and lost 3 minutes on control 15 a 100-150 meter control. Just could not get my head around staying low and I kept heading high. Went back to relocate on 14 and still headed high again. Finally stayed low and got it. The finish few controls were just physically tough.
At 62, I am running not so crazy hard, just focus on the map and legs.
Still I ended up third now 2 days in a row.

Have to get some Skyline chili tonight.

Orienteering Meet race 20:57 [5] *** 2.7 km (7:46 / km) +25m 7:25 / km
spiked:21/23c shoes: Icebug green #5

Flying Pig Sprint at Miami university Hamilton campus.
Big oops driving here at I went to Oxford campus where they have been usually. I was about a half hour away.
Anyway the sprint was mostly wooded till the end. Just really was gased from the running during run, not sure why.

Quick ride.

Running 48:00 [3] 7.5 km (6:24 / km)

Bong!!! Yep a muddy run down the road at Bong state park.
I thought by going there I would avoid the mud, ha ha not. I usually don't run there because the trails are somewhat boring, but actually not and I will go there a few more times when it drys up a bit.
Katie got pretty muddy too.
