Orienteering Meet race 24:25 [5] *** 2.3 km (10:37 / km) +80m 9:03 / km
spiked:14/18c

US Sprint Champs Franklin Park MASS. Nice area, great weather, big mistake on no. 10. I lost about 3 minutes on this control. I had fun changing positions with the Champ who started 2 minutes after me. Probably had a bit of problem with the scale and following a trail. Tomorow is another day.

Running 35:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

After yesterdays run that hurt my lower back I had to test run again and to see if I had any speed from lack of run training. I am ok and ready for the weekend.

Running 1:07:00 [3] 6.7 mi (10:00 / mi)
ahr:131 max:159

Took my new headlamp out for a trial run at on Pets trails so it was dark and lots of leaves covering the trail made sure i tripped a bit here and there. I thought I would run with the the running club president but he must of left exactly at 5:30 and I was late a few minutes. It was better I ran alone in the dark.

Running 53:00 [3] 5.0 mi (10:36 / mi)

No one else was going to the ride today, just going easy around the cabin to nashville for pizza. I thought I would but decided to head home early and do a nice run at eagle creek that is located next to the highway made this even better.

Road Riding 4:20:00 [4] 58.0 mi (4:29 / mi)

Hilly Hundred near Bloomington, Ind. It was cool and windy at the start, and a few backups as some folks were carted off in ambulances. But it was a nice day and I used my hybrid bike as I had all week. This is one of those rides where in 57 miles they would feed you pretty good. My odometer did not work, must of been the rain from Thursday? Actual too many people riding for me, but an event that Phil likes to host and the bands, food and friends he had at the cabin was really a good time.
