Base 5k for command PT today, but on the track, so it's not like anyone was really pushing hard, the time is an estimate, and the course was at least 200m short. Also, K was on a sleep strike last night (teething/growth spurt/generalized almost-toddler crankiness? all of the above? something else entirely? who knows)

After being sick all week, really had a hard time getting my body to cooperate today. Felt fairly lousy and slogged through the 1st 5 controls ok, but not really mentally or physically with it. Felt like I was barely moving on the way to 6, then by 7 I had a spitting headache and decided to just start heading back. Disappointed that I wasn't able to push harder, but it was nice to get out in the woods, anyway. K had a great time doing brown with Jeremy.
