Circuit training at command PT. Good full-body workout this morning: squats, lunges, burpees, mountain climbers, planks, crunches, v-ups, sprints, box jumps, jump squats, push-ups, free weights and plyos.
warm-up, then 10 x 64yds (the survival training pool is ~32 yards long) on 1 minute intervals (averaging about 12-15 seconds rest on each interval), then 3 x 256yd IMs.
Meetings seemed to take forever today, so I was running short on time before my flight brief, but I really wanted to make sure I did *something* today. Popped out to the track and ran for as long as I could. Had some definite sciatic and glute pain, mostly on the left, possibly an artifact from my flight last night? Flying again tonight, so I'll see how I feel on Friday.
emergency drills for the dunker. Pool is still cold.

Woo! I finally got outside for a run! And true to MD winters, yesterday was in the high 20's with 8 inches of snow, today was 55+ and all the snow was gone from the trails. Trails were in surprisingly good shape, too, with only a couple of muddy pits (which I somehow managed to avoid falling in). 3x around Mattapany, plus a warm-up/cool-down to and from the gym.
