orienteering 2:02:00 [2]

Bumble (mint). Need to do more analysis later, but perhaps less time spent having orienteering/life epiphanies (like: I really need to start focusing on orienteering training) and more time actually pushing myself and focusing on navigation would have led to better results and not skipping a control.

running (treadmill) 35:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:45 / mi)

Aannnd it's still raining/snowing so we had to do command PT indoors again today. Free day, though, so 15 minutes of warm-up and strength/core exercises, then I finally got my 4 mile run in that I've been meaning to do all week. At least the treadmills here are in pretty good shape, but I still think I've pretty much maxed out on my treadmill tolerance for the year.

strength/core 15:00 intensity: (10:00 @2) + (5:00 @4)

warm-up and core/arm exercises.

strength/core 50:00 intensity: (20:00 @2) + (20:00 @3) + (10:00 @4)

Calisthenics/circuit training for command PT. Felt good through the abs and arms sections, but the legs (especially the box jumps) really destroyed me. Was planning on a 3 mile run originally, but following calisthenics my right hamstring was pretty twingy, so I figured maybe I should let it rest, especially after intervals yesterday.

swimming 30:00 [2]

laps at work to try to loosen up residual DOMS from PT on Monday.

running 22:00 intensity: (5:00 @2) + (17:00 @4) 2.5 mi (8:48 / mi)

5 minute jog to warm up, then 4x800 with 1 minute rest in between. Pouring outside, so opted to run on the treadmill- especially unpleasant for intervals.

strength/core 1:00:00 [3]

Calisthenics (name game) for command PT. Lots of core exercises.
