The Botany Gift - course 2 (M55A)
Pleased with the 5 controls in the dunes them blew it on 6 where I went too find right and probably lost a couple of minutes or so. The rest of the course was more of a running affair, shame there weren’t more controls in the dunes. Calf was ok but didn't want to push it.

Coups Creek
Decided to get the majority of the bush controls first before it got too dark. Good fun once you got your around the map which was a blown up, symbols and all, 1:5000 version of the main map. Couldn't believe you were allowed to run along the shoulder of Connemara Parkway west of 24 so made my life difficult by not doing so. Once at 26 had no idea what to do so set off up to and along Pennant Road to 20. Dumb route choice not helped by my calf going so had to run, walk, limp back to the finish the best part of 7mins late.
