Note

Event seemed to go well despite a few minor IT glitches. Amazed at the number of entries, 124 against a previous high of 100 for a Sydney Sprint Series! Only printed 110 maps so thanks to everyone who offered their map up for recycling.

Some suspicious splits on 10, 11 and 14 suggest several people ignored the out of bounds markings, sooner or later we'll lose access to an area because of this!

Thanks to all the BFers who helped.

Running 1:39:57 [3] 16.53 km (6:03 / km)
shoes: Mizuno Wave Nexus 7

Lower Lane Cove Loop via Rotary in both directions. Very high tide meant I couldn't even get to the iron spikes, let alone crab my way along them so had to take the upper path. Longest run for a long time.

Big turnout tonight. Same session as last week, wasn't feeling inspired beforehand but seemed to pull out a reasonable session.

Skinny Latte 5.0
Good course, diffiicult to pick the best route, only minor quibble would be the 1:8000 map. After a lot of indecision headed around Ballast Point first 7, 30, 10, 20, 26, 19, 29 had to climb up the wall despite having told where it was, 18 jumped over fence whereas Jamie Kennedy casually opened the gate, 28 a long way down the steps only to come back up again, 8, 17, 27, 25, 15, 4, 24 after minor incident with a dog, 14 took a while to work out what was happening, 22, 12, 11, 21 and big sprint to finish to end up on 44.59 O time, perfect timing! Ended up with 470.
