Metro League Cattai Creek
After a few low-sleep nights, was up until midnight writing new software to make this event more online (results-wise) given we weren't displaying results at the event. People's approach varied from sensible to indifferent (esp kids and oldies). So no more orienteering, that's why we can't have nice things.

Anyway, went for a run when everyone was back and really enjoyed just getting out - was very messy (mistakes at #3,#4,#6,#16,#19,#25) - legs were in it but brain was not.

Got the word to work from home, so I lingered in my PJs but my relaxedness was too overpowering and Lyra was late for her bus, so had to drive her to intercept the bus, then thought I would go and get rest of work-from-home gear from office. That took a while, thought I'd do a Fairylands loop while I was there.

Had crossed the river and realised that I had arranged a 9.30 meeting with my teams to check that nobody was having any issues wfh. Phone was in car at athletics track, I was at Fullers Bridge. Time was 9.28.

Very embarassing.

Running in the dry is way more fun than riding in the rain.

So, I'm partially isolating and avoiding public transport.
Dug the chunky commuter bike out of the shed, put some pedals on it (why do I never remember that the pedals have different threads).

Riding in the rain was fairly horrible, much worse than walking in the rain. I had forgotten that. May upgrade my cycling rain top.
