Easter day 2.
Thought I started well, maybe lost 30s at #2, as I initially read the lines of rock wrong, then picked a bum route. Happy through #5, lost a bit of time on #6 picking the right creek to use as a handrail - just over shot it, maybe 1 min.

#8 was my big undoing - read map well in to the minor gully, but when I got there it all looked wrong. Was actually v close to control (GPS should show), but panicked, eventually deciding to run down the big gulch to relocate... eventually hit my #10... GPS shows I lost 5'30" here :(

Struggled a bit with #13-#15 having thrashed myself from #10-#12.

Way off - 5th, almost 9 minutes down on Tony. Clung onto 2nd maybe.

Easter M50 day 1.
First starter, but caught M21 Sledge field about half way round. Pretty clean race, lost contact on the hardest leg on the course (12-13), but probably lost less than 2 minutes there (although longer track route now looks attractive).

Not incredibly hard navigation, map was detailed but very well mapped (even vegetation !)

1st, Tony Woolford 2nd, about 2'30" down
