Akuna. Rested up for it.
NSCC caught our small peleton just after the showgrounds. Large, fast peleton to bottom of Akuna where one of them had a mechanical. Nice day out.

Left bike at bike shop - finally someone else (Darvo) noticed the annoying headset creak, and with Charlie's comments and the MTB bleed ahead of me I capitulated. Anyone want to borrow my headset press ?

Manly dam MTB lollipop with Allambie Heath track as the handle.

A bad day in sport - got there to find my front brakes were stuck on. After a bit of kicking didn't improve things, walked to a servo, bought some allen keys andbled the brake myself (*).

Ride was a bit tougher than I remembered despite being less in the bush than I remember. Main issue was that the front brakes didn't work at all (see *).

Anyway, survived but a bit late to soccer coz of brake thing, only to find I was 40 minutes late, not 10, so had missed game.

To cap off the day I was going to replace the tyres on the road bike, but after finally getting the front one done and puncturing two tubes in the process, gave up on the day.

Feeling a bit better this morning, having eaten up a storm yesterday.
Great temperature, just after a very small shower. Nobody else out on the tracks, but many spider webs.
