cycling (commute) 40:00 [3] 15.0 km (2:40 / km)

21 riders on thebike path section to work - despite last night's prolonged thunderstorms. Must have been some NY resolutions.

Rode to LC to pick up GoGet car then home in car to get banner for tonights sprint event. Of course it then took 40 minutes in the car. Why do we have these races on Monday nights insted of (say) Saturday mornings ?!!!

orienteering race 18:59 [3]
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (#1)

SprintO West Pymble.
New map for us. Good fun. Lost a bit of time on some bad route choices - suspect I lost time on some people y not going through the uncrossable fence 9-10.

Much fun.

run 55:15 [3] 7.74 km (7:08 / km) +179m 6:24 / km
shoes: Asics Gel-1160

Run to work - felt terrible, probably too much breakfast. Bleaggh.

Also - ripped large strip out of my trusty Calvin & Hobbes T-shirt, so it got binned after about 15 years of faithful service :(

3 PM

cycling 24:01 [3] 7.51 km (3:12 / km) +118m 2:58 / km

Ride to work... about 3.30pm by the time I got there. Not so many people riding at that time of day.
7 PM

run 48:42 [3] 7.27 km (6:42 / km) +185m 5:56 / km
shoes: Asics Gel-1160

Run home - just getting dark. Probably the best time of the day for a run, bar dawn, its been a bit humid.

cycling (commute) 43:00 [3] 15.0 km (2:52 / km) +170m 2:43 / km

Back on the commute, and after last nights sprint there was no sbconscious desire to get up on the peddles and give the good pumping.
