Orienteering race 45:00 [5] *** 4.8 km (9:22 / km)
ahr:175 max:185 shoes: Montail Masai Red

Very hilly course on a fairly cool day. wasn't running well but ran clean. Only screwed up the first control, was bleeding hand was making a mess for the rest of the course.wish I was under 10min/k since I know the area so well. (I thought it was 46 to 49 min but the website says 44, I know that is wrong)

swimming 45:00 [3]

quick swim, not very many laps (I think). Technique is better, still can't kick and maintain form. A girl got in the lane and then I was exhausted trying to stay at her speed.... May try some lower body work later

Indoor cardio 15:00 [2]

%^&*# Treadmill 20:00 [3] 2.5 mi (8:00 / mi)

Indoor cardio 20:00 [2]

Still sore from the central park run. Trying to loosen up for next Sat. Felt heavy (I am) and tight especially at the beginning.

swimming 45:00 [3]

Just playing around doing laps. A few of the laps felt effortless. Blisters were sore with the water and legs felt very tight at the beginning, better, not good, at the end. worked on dolphin kick and rolling with the freestyle.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [5] 8.0 mi (11:15 / mi)
ahr:176 shoes: Montail Masai Red

Intense run through central park. Horrible map printing, worse than westmoreland. Skipped 4 had to run back (+1km) got 2 wrong side of the cliff and a few route choices I second guessed myself which ate up time. Also I am out of shape and got very tired at the end. Blister on small toe on both feet.
