Had to run to the start straight away so warm up was only short.

Sprint Orienteering race 28:56 [5] **** 6.5 km (4:27 / km)

WOC public race in Venice before the sprint final. Was an elongated sprint which was quite tough, especially as I headed out close to sprint speed. Ran quite well, a few small misses here and there but no big errors apart from running the wrong way out of the start triangle...

Nice course around Venice that I found on world of o. Was good but felt a little sluggish still.

6 by 1 min hard, 2 min easy. Was very hot and legs were feeling sluggish after the last couple of days. Soldiered on through though.

Long hilly run in cinque terre. Ran from sea level to the top of the ridge line (780m) which was rough on the way up and very rough on the quads on the way down.
