Day 5 - Dumaresq Dam
Probably my second best run of the five days after day 3 and felt that i went really well. A Few little mistakes at the start but other than that I didn't have any problems and finished in 8th. I came 9th overall for the five days :)

Day 4 - Mount Brown
Wow!! One word for this map. Defiantly one of the hardest navigation courses I have done. I went pretty well but I wasn't extremely fast because I was trying to keep contact with the map. Had a few mistakes but I felt that i did pretty well and ended up coming 11th :)

Day 3 - Saw Mill Creek
Today was excellent for me. Had a smashing good run on terrain that was off the rocks and more like a Tasmanian map. Only had one mistake where I was a little slow to number 10 and I hesitated bu I ended well and finished in 8th :)

Day 2 - Banalasta
Got up early to head out to the map banalasta that had horrible long grass and intense granite compared to what i had ever been in :) Forgot to wear my garmin so I just put the course legnth but I probably ran about 9km. Started off very badly when i got a compass bearing and ran the wrong way totally. realised this when I saw all the people running including those on my course going the other way. I decided to head back to the start triangle and start again and that is when the guy starting 3 minutes behind me passed me :) I also stuffed up control 2 by missing the track and going to 4 first. This meant climbing back up the hill i didn't have to come down. I lost about 5 minutes and this resulted in julian Dent cathcing me at the 5th control when he started 11 minutes behind me :0 The rest of my course was solid but I was really tired and Josh B smashed past me at control 11 which upset me cause he was going 10 times faster than me :) In the end I finished strongly and came 11th today :)

Day 2 - Banalasta Training
Decided to the traning that was offered which I am gald i did. Did some useful training on attackpoints and the extra running in the rock detail will help for the future. The traing was two loops one about 1km and one about 2km.

Day 1 - University of New England
My first run started very well and I felt that i was moving at a decent pace but was slowing a little because of the diference in heat from NSW and home. Only had a few mistakes, lost 20 seconds at 3, 30 seconds at 10 and 10 seconds at 16 because of a bad route choice. The course was actually 3.1 km with 85m climb so I ran a km more and somehow did 15m less climb :)

Got off school early before the leavers dinner so decided to go for a run. Once I started running a regretted my decision, it was super hot and i felt tired as. Made it 6km on my 15km loop and decided I had to cut it short because i felt sick. Ended up dragging myself home but had to walk up a few hills in the middle 6km which meant I walked for about 15 minutes. I only timed my running parts so i could see how fast i was going when I was running :)

Monday running group that was a bit of a fail. Tom was in Melbs, Ash and Bryce were injured and Luke and Corey said it was too hot, which it was :) So Shaun and I ended up battling the incredible heat and by the end were extremely drained. Anyway was still a pretty good run on the always good tracks of Kate reed :)

Helped out at LSSSA last day after I battled to get out of school (Wouldn't let me leave without a phonecall from mum or dad). Was pretty good helping out nad decided to run home after hitting up a few tracks in trevallyn :) Was at village green so headed towards heartbreak hill, up the hill and then looped back towards duck reach. Down to the power station and then up the other side and then home along the roads. Was pretty happy with my solid pace of 7 minutes kms up heartbreak hill but was a bit sore when I got home :)

Had a day off school and Tommy G had finished school so we decided to do some rogaine training and go for a long run. Left my place and ran to Duck reach where we smashed it up the hill and got into trevallyn. Nice run around some of the tracks in trevallyn and then down to the basin where we were going to take the duck reach track back. Unfortuantly for us the track was closed so we had to backtrack and slog it up the massive hill to get on top of the hill. Running through bush and steep as hills don;t go to well so we ended up walking a bit :( Then we hit up the streets back to my house again clocking another 5km :) For some reason my garmin doesn;t want to work but I got all the details except climb which we did a fair bit of :) Nice all round long run :)
