Foot slowly improving. Able to walk sufficiently well to get to the start and back to pick up my map. Looked really fun today :(
2 week Boris-enforced rest upcoming...

Ouch. Struggling to put weight on my foot.
I think I'm going to have to have a complete break from anything putting pressure on my foot. Therefore no running, cycling or golf. What's left? :(

Orienteering race 59:30 [3] 3.0 mi (19:50 / mi)
(injured) shoes: VJ Integrator (blue)

OO Cup, Day 1. Col de la Faucille.
M55 4.0km 100m.
Fully dosed up on Ibuprofen (2x2 tablets) plus Ibulieve gel. Still hobbling from the off and progressively getting worse. Determined to finish as it will probably be my only day. Wincing in pain towards the end, particularly if my L foot twisted outwards when contouring. The rough terrain didn't help. Obviously miles down on the leaders.
Ice when back at the house. I think I need an X-ray. Something must be broken.
On the positive side, my Achilles was perfect.

Sitting out the training event.
Foot somewhat better after 3 consecutive days in the car but pretty sure running will set me back to where I was a few days ago. Therefore saving it for first day proper tomorrow. Plan is to drug myself up in the morning.
