British Middle Distance Champs, Chinley Churn.
M55, 4.7km 140m.
Good clean run pushing as hard as I could the whole way. Trouble is that it was technically easy and so, with very few mistakes being made, it turned into a bit of a fell race. I was pleased to hold my 2 minute man (Quentin) off but he had me in his sights from #17 onwards. Therefore the starting order was instrumental in deciding the results (as last time I ran the Middles).
6th place 1:13 down on Quentin and 19 seconds off the podium.
I reckon I'd have been 2nd in M50. Certainly next year I'll be asking for an earlier start so that I don't end up in a train.
