Northern Champs, Wharncliffe North.
M55L 6.2km 205m.
Started well but at #5 I checked the code for #6 so went back. Punched #5 for a second time 5.5 minutes after the first visit. Race over :(
After the section on the moor I started to struggle with vision (I was wearing a contact). This resulted in a number of smaller errors through the last forest section.
Despite all this I only missed out on being Northern Champion by less than 3 mins. Nigel's time (51) was probably just out of reach though.

Calf massage with Richard. Ouch!
Standard 30 minutes working on my right calf. Then he moved onto my left calf. This took another 70 minutes to loosen off fully. One particular area on the outside edge proved particularly problematic. Not sure how long it will take for the resultant soreness to go.
