Full blown cold. Now concentrating on trying to recover in time for next weekend.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Sore throat has developed into a chesty cough. Also feeling achy and weak. Decided to give day 2 of cycling weekend a miss.

Road bike 1:40:00 [2] 25.0 mi (4:00 / mi)

Day 1 of the Brett training camp (for NC500 in June).
From Crich to Bakewell via Chatsworth mainly on back roads. Not feeling 100% (achy, sore throat etc) so trying to stay within myself without getting dropped.
1 PM

Road bike 1:40:00 [2] 20.0 mi (5:00 / mi)

Back to Crich after a lunch stop. Hillier and into the wind more than this morning. Nasty climb back up Crich to finish. Sore throat no better. ..

Beautiful day for it and I was feeling pretty good except for L Achilles/ ankle which started to feel a little sore after a while. No running now for a few days anyway.

Note
(rest day)

Golf. Pro's mid week comp. 29 Stableford points (15/14).
Unsurprisingly not at my best. Home at 0430 this morning and feeling knackered. Played better than yesterday still.

Orienteering race 25:22 [4] 2.5 mi (10:09 / mi)
shoes: Innov8 X-Talon (3)

Irish Relay Champs, Finner Sands.
Middle leg of 12 point handicap relay with Nick L on 1st and Arun on 3rd. 4.0km.
Nice change to actually be able to run. Clean run but our course didn't really make the best use of the area so was largely quite straightforward.

Note

Golf at Blacklion with Bill and Arun. 9 points from 9 holes. Not good.
