Golf. Pro's mid week comp. 22 Stableford points (6/16).
Windy but my mind just wasn't in it to start with.
Left Achilles also sore. Probably a bit worse than this time last week, causing me to hobble a bit around the course. Ice again.

Day 3 Chasing start. Derrycluvane.
5.2km, 220m.
Survival order of the day. Heavy rain and strong wind. Just did what I needed and avoided any big errors. Extended lead to 8 mins.

Day 2. Shrone Hill/ Glengarriff.
7.0km 340m.
Good job visibility was ok today. A few smallish misses on the open. One big one in the woods. 7min lead over Colm for tomorrow's chasing start.
L Achilles slightly niggly after yesterday. Took ibuprofen before running. No worse after.

Shamrock O Ringen. Day 1. Cobdubh South.
M50, 4.9km 140m. (Course 3).
Fun in the cloud. I coped (got lucky?). Others didn't: see Martin's routegadget for a good example.

Golf with Andy. Played match play and he won 4 and 3. I had a couple of good spells but a bad one in the middle meant I couldn't compete with his 79 gross.
L Achilles much better than Tuesday. Seems to be settling down well. Ice afterwards. Still hopeful will be OK for Shamrock.

A bit nervous on the left leg, particularly on the plyometrics. Feeling a little weaker but not painful. Ice afterwards.
