SL10. Great course. Tough physically and two nice long legs with great variety of route choices.
Started OK, maybe route to 3 was sub-optimal, I just tried to stay on track as long as I could to avoid scrappy/rocky descend into deep valley but you can't avoid unavoidable. On the way to 5 I was caught by Undy who started 2 minutes after me, so it was not bad since Andy is a better runner.
5 to 6 was a long leg which Andy went one way and I did another. My idea was to keep left but don't use track since it looked to far, also tried to contour. Ended up too low, It would be better/quicker to run on track. Lost 1 minute on a bad route choice. Then Pretty much clean run except n14 where I drifted too right. It was all good till N10 - I was in 3rd position in all M18/M40/M45 classes and 1st in M40. Unfortunately, I hit the wall and could not really run after, just walked. Completely ran out of puff! Had a nut bar in the pocket and eaten it but it was too late - only started to feel a bit better on the way to last control. In the end I only lost 25 sec to Shane, such a shame!

Started earlier than supposed to, it was a club event so I could help.
Started OK, first error on control 7 - got to a little clearing with some rocks and control(it was not mine) and I thought I was to the right of mine(at the start they said there were some unmapped clearings). 2 mins lost. Another 2 mins lost on the next one - pivot control, 3rd time to visit and missed! Then only small mistake(30 sec). Problem was I was too slow - no energy to run uphills.
