Three inches of fresh snow, not groomed but gently churned by prior skiers: beautiful. Mellie did a great job today and the soft snow gave me plenty of edge and control in the sharp turns after the downhills.

Beautiful morning, crisp and clear. Brace for sore thumb worked great. I should have had some water along, that fourth lap was really a chore.
