Orienteering race 48:31 [4] 8.6 km (5:38 / km) +96m 5:21 / km

QOC Manassas Red - fairly simple course through mostly open areas and fast woods with little climb on a lovely late fall day.

Easy jog home through Rock Creek Park. Tested new headlamp. Won't use it for night-O but it's pleasingly less bulky and generally cumbersome compared to my Silva headlamp so probably my trail running headlamp for the forseeable future, unless I find my rate of stumbling and falling increases noticeably with the somewhat lesser illumination.
