Green at Wheaton. I decided to do Green today because it wasn't that much longer than Brown, and it was a beautiful day. The first two controls went badly. The advanced maps didn't have trails on them since we've been to this park many times and there are a lot of trails, and for some reason, this really threw me off as I ran towards #1. And then I just got pulled to a nearby similar control for #2. After that, things went better. The woods were a little messier than they look on the map, mainly lots of low, straggly thorny vines and downed trees.

I worked from home today to get in some doctor appointments and was able to go to the gym for an early Body Pump class. Unfortunately, I was very early -- by an hour -- and found myself in a class called Hard Drive. I figured I would try it...glad I hadn't read the description before I started: Hard Drive is a heart-pounding, muscle-pumping, sweat-pouring, total body workout designed to produce a stronger, fitter you. You will get a full body conditioning with a mix of strength and cardio intervals.

It was a great workout, I am now exhausted.

One of the doctors I went to today was a dermatologist. I have had dermalogical lupus for quite awhile and should probably see a doctor once a year, but I don't. So, this was my first visit in quite a few years. She wasn't finding anything suspicious even though I have freckles and moles everywhere, but then she got to my back and was a little surprised. Evidently I had some suspicious looking spots, so she cut out two of them for biopsy. I'm sure it will be fine.

I was much too sweaty to take a shower right after class, so I cooled down on the treadmill. If I had taken an immediate shower, I would have still been sweating when I got out. Yuck!
