Another outing at Happy Jack. What a beautiful day!

Note

It is official. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that my toe is broken. Fractured across the base of the middle phalange of my left pinky toe. It should take another 3-5 weeks to heal properly. The doctor also thought I had damaged a lot of the tendons across the top of my foot. Ugh.

Skiing, X-C 1:44:21 [3]

A beautiful ski out Headquarters Trail and down to Crow Creek. It took a little longer than I thought, so I ended near dark. Before it got dark, though, it was beautiful.

My toe really hurts now.

Hiking 47:55 [3] 3.08 mi (15:33 / mi)

A quick hike around Wash Park. I was going to try to run it, but my toe still hurts too much, mostly from the pressure of the shoe. I'm going to the doctor on Thursday to finally see what's going on since it doesn't seem to be getting much better.

Was pretty much hobbling by the time I got home. This might not have been my smartest idea of late. I might need to just stick with yoga and barre, which are done barefoot.

Dog Walking 20:00 [1]

Core Conditioning 1:00:00 [3]

This was my usual barre class except that our instructor moved to another gym, so we had a new one...Kate. This was my first class with Kate, but Marnie had gone last week and said that she was easier than our last instructor, who we felt was the devil incarnate. Well, halfway through this class, I walked over to Marnie and called her a liar! She swore that the class last week was much easier. All I know is that my quads were on fire, my arms couldn't hold up the 3 lb. weight we were using, and everyone had a little pool of sweat on the floor around them. I will most definitely be sore in the morning. Loved it!
