Training Log Archive: kissy

A morning hike on the C&O Canal in Shepherdstown. It was pretty humid, but at least the heat wave has passed. Soon, I'm off to Richmond.

Well, that was a mapboy style cross country trip. I left Denver at 10:00 am on Monday morning and arrived in Shepherdstown at 11:00 pm last night.

11 hours and 750 miles later, I made it as far as Jefferson City, MO.

Spent the day packing and getting ready for a road trip to the East coast. I need to be in NJ later this week and then Richmond, VA next week, and then a week at the beach in Nags Head, NC for the week of the 4th. So, I thought it would be easiest to drive and have my car with me, plus I'm able to bring all of our beach equipment, too. And, I have to pack all of the candles for Don's birthday cake...and those take a lot of room since there are soooo many!
