HIIT 1:00:00 intensity: (40:00 @2) + (20:00 @3)

Rowing sprint intervals that almost made me puke.

Note

I got fitted for my knee brace yesterday. I'm breaking orienteering tradition and going with an Ossur instead of Don-Joy. I won't have it for NC, but should definitely have it for GA.

Note

I finally made it out of Laramie. Rt. 287 opened up around 3:30, so I took a chance and headed south. The road was very icy in spots, with strong winds blowing snow across the road. I just kept my fingers crossed until I was well into Colorado. As of 8:00 MT, I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne was still closed. In fact, it's closed heading east for most of the state of Wyoming. Crazy state.

Note

Snowed in in Laramie. No skiing today because I-80 was closed all day. I was supposed to head back to Denver tonight, but it looks like I'm here until tomorrow. A trip to Altitude is in order, I believe.

Snowshoeing 2:20:00 intensity: (1:35:00 @2) + (45:00 @3)

Snowshoeing on the newly completed Happy Jack map. It was a nice day on the trails, and pretty crowded. I felt good except I had a little bonking episode coming up this one hill. Luckily, it was close to the end.
