Cycling 2:10:00 [3] 30.0 mi (13.8 mph)

I felt like going out for a longish ride, so I went exploring on some roads where I keep getting lost when I'm driving. And guess what? I got lost while cycling, too! Luckily, I brought a map snippet with me, so I could figure out where I was, but I ended up having to go on a fairly busy road to get back on track. Always good training to go in traffic every once in a while.

The weather was perfect. Cool temps and overcast. It almost looked like it could rain at any point, but it never did. I felt really good, except for my left calf, which kept feeling like it wanted to go into a full blown cramp but never quite made it, thank goodness.

Hiking 1:11:00 [3] 3.7 mi (19:11 / mi)

A nice hike in Jockey Hollow. It was quite a bit colder, with grey skies and drizzle. I think autumn is here.

Cycling 2:11:00 [3]

I was going to go for a bike ride around Morris County during my open house today, but it was drizzling/raining just enough to make me think it could get slippery. So, I loaded up my mt. bike and headed for the Delaware Canal trail. The river was running fast and muddy, coming out of its banks in many places, but the trail was still in good shape.
