Orienteering 1:00:00 [2]

Hanging some controls for tomorrow and checking on a few other things.

Note

I saw the doctor yesterday as a follow up to my MRI. And...it's back in the OR for me. I have a cyclops lesion and two slight tears, one on my lateral and one on my medial meniscii. I'm going in on Dec. 16, and it should be an easy in and out with no crutches involved. At least now I know why it still has been hurting and what contributed to my slowness in the woods this year in orienteering. So, next year....watch out!!

Note

SF and I took a day trip to Hyde Park, NY. The views up the Hudson River from the Vanderbilt Mansion were brilliant.

Running 34:06 [3] 3.0 mi (11:22 / mi)

A few seconds faster than last time, and that was with feeling sick for the entire run. I didn't sleep well last night due to an upset stomach, and it stayed that way through the run. Ick.

Running (Western Ave.) 34:14 [3] 3.0 mi (11:25 / mi)

Let's see if we can end this break.

I went for a morning run up Western Ave. It actually felt really good to be running on the road, not having to worry about tripping on a rock or twisting my knee. There wasn't too much traffic, either. And I think I went for just the right amount of time because as I was walking back down my driveway, my iPod ran out of battery power.

I spent a little more time in the woods finalizing the courses for next weekend. What a gorgeous day!
