Yoga 40:00 [2]

Power Yoga 1 with Caron Shepley. So delicious.

Running (trails at JH) 44:32 [3] 3.5 mi (12:43 / mi) +179m 10:59 / mi

A nice run on the trails at Jockey Hollow. I had to be slow and careful because of the leaves on the trails covering all of the hidden tripping traps.

Cycling 20:00 [2]

In my basement on my bike trainer. Not at the gym because I officially quit my gym last weekend. I just wasn't getting there often enough to justify the cost. Plus, I finally concluded that I'm just not a gym person. Too much closeness with strangers who are very sweaty. I'd rather be alone in my basement. (Uh-oh, that didn't sound very non-strange.)

I also decided that if I'm going to be able to ride my bike again on the streets without it hurting my knee, it would probably be best to train *on my bike*. So, that's what I'm doing.

Strength Training 20:00 [2]

In my basement, on the Bowflex that Mom and Don gave me last year because, ironically enough, *they* were joining a gym. I didn't think I'd like it since I haven't had much luck with home weight machines, but this was actually pretty nice. Easy to use and very smooth. And so convenient!

I guess the next step is to break out the Core DVD again. Yikes.

Note

A swampfox showed up at my door tonight, so I let him in.

Orienteering 2:00:00 [2]

Spent some time in Lewis Morris Park, scouting out some control sites for my meet. I had the updated map this time(!), so the trails matched up much better. I still have to make a couple of recent adjustments, but nothing too bad.
