PT 30:00 [1]

I did some new exercises...side leg lifts...and it was a little difficult. It felt good to do some stretches, though.

Note

I went to the doctor yesterday, and he said everything looked great. I didn't think so, though. In the spirit of PG, you be the judge.

WARNING: Not for the squeamish!!

PT 30:00 [1]
(injured)

My first of many PT sessions. The therapist removed the brace and ace bandage, but there was another layer of wrapping that he didn't want to remove. Under there, were the staples (yuck!). I think I'll see that on Thursday when I go back to the doctor.

It felt good to have the brace off, even if for a short amount of time, but I also felt very vulnerable without it. I did my usual exercises, plus two new ones. My inner thigh muscle is starting to cramp up alot. I guess I'm using that to help lift my leg.

Note

House update: In the end, I opted out of that first, tiny house. I just think it would have been too much of a shock. I'm currently pursuing two other houses in that same neighborhood, and they are both bigger. I hope one of them works out.

Note

The surgery is over and it seems to have gone well. I've already had 2 PT sessions and have been using crutches in full weight-bearing mode. So, it looks encouraging.

The surgery took 5.5 hours! And my neck and shoulder muscles are killing me. Evidently, I was strapped down the entire time, with a breathing tube.
