Weekly Update

On Monday, I went in for an ultrasound on my leg, and the blood clot was very tiny, in an ancillary vein, and it didn't even block the whole vein, so nothing to worry about.

I spent the next few days in NJ and went house hunting today. I put a contract on a cute house in Morristown. A cute *tiny* house. Well, tiny to me compared to what I have now. But, it only makes sense since it's just me and Graham, and soon to be just me. However, the realization that all of my kids will soon be gone, I have to get rid of a lot of my stuff now to fit in to the new house (aka, "downsizing"), I will no longer be a suburban soccer mom, etc., all hit me at once, standing in the house, and I had a minor meltdown. I think my realtor was a little taken aback.

Then, on the 5 hour drive home, it all washed over me again, and giant alligator tears rolled down my cheeks. I'm sure I was a sight to behold. A reassuring call to SF calmed me down, and I could think straight again. "It is a good thing, it is a good thing, it is a good thing."

And now to bed for an early morning visit to the OR. My life is just a barrel of laughs lately.
