After a day of rain, today dawned so beautifully that I decided I had to get out in the woods before helping my sister move. So I headed to PWF to run part of the Red course from the 1992 NA Champs. I ran most of it, but had to cut off the last bit so I could get home on time.
One obstacle was that the bridge over Quantico Creek was closed again but I couldn't sneak across this time because all of the planks had been removed. So, I found a thinner section of the creek a little downstream and crossed it there. I still ended up to my thighs, courtesy of the rain yesterday. It was a good test for my shoes as these are the ones I'm going to wear for the Rogaine.
I felt great again today. I can't be exactly sure why I feel so good lately, but maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with the medicine I started taking for my hypothyroidism. I hadn't been very consistent with taking it, but now I've placed it right in front of the coffee maker, so I can't miss it. Hopefully, this good feeling will continue.

I helped my sister and brother in law move from their temporary apartment to their new house. They're renting out their house in Stafford and moved to Herndon to be closer to both jobs. Since my sister bruised her rib two weeks ago and her husband strained his back about the same time, Graham and I did a lot of heavy lifting. I think I'll be feeling it tomorrow.
Next weekend, we move the rest of their stuff from my basement. Hopefully, they'll be more healed by then.
