Training Log Archive: kissy

An SSS event at Valerie's house in Arlington. She put together a very fun street-O course, using an eclectic mix of maps...Google, aerial, topo at what looked like 1:2000, etc. There were also bonus questions during the entire course that you could find the answers for along the way. I got a little turned around on the way to the first control because there was a hand-drawn path that I didn't see, so I took a bit of a circuitous route, but I got there.

There was a good crowd at Valerie's to enjoy the courses and the scrumptious food provided courtesy of Roger. I think this is the best we've eaten after an SSS in quite a while. It was also nice that Tanner and Graham joined me for this one, with Graham doing the run version and Tanner doing the Bike-O version.

Despite being sick, SF was feeling rambunctious by the afternoon, and I had to agree to cut up a cantaloupe in order to get him to be good. That SF!
