Running 30:00 [3]

Running through the neighborhood in disgustingly hot and humid weather. Threw in a few intervals to keep it fun (6 x :20 fast/:60 easy).

Yoga 40:00 [1]

This always feels so good with all of the stretching and downward facing dogs. Oh, yea, and the relaxation at the end. Yum!

Running 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

An easy run through the neighborhood with many wildlife sitings...albeit they were all dead. I saw a box turtle, garter snake, ringneck snake (a baby one), bunny rabbit, squirrel and what I thought was a bird but upon further inspection, turned out to be a black leather glove. Oops.

Cycling (Trainer) 1:00:00 [2]

I had planned on swimming tonight, but I absolutely smashed my finger today, and I figured it might be a better idea to do something that didn't involve my hands so much. Maybe tomorrow.

Running race 56:42 [3] 6.2 mi (9:09 / mi)

Civitans 10K. According to my training schedule, I was supposed to run 6 miles today, so decided to do this race to cover the requirement. It started at 7:30, so the heat wasn't too bad, and it's a nice course that winds through the neighborhoods of Fredericksburg. I felt fine for the whole race, but my legs were still tired enough from Saturday that there were no thoughts of pushing it at all. It truly was a training run that coincidentally took place during a race. Splits were 9:03, 9:11, 8:54, 9:17, 9:11, 9:25, 1:40.
