Kayaking 3:38:53 [3] 6.15 mi (35:34 / mi) +5m 35:29 / mi

Kayak and kayak sail from tobacco caye to south water caye with stops for snorkeling and lunch on the reef

Winds were strong ( at around 25 mph) but we kayak sailed anyway . One double kayak with a single alongside for stability and a 8' mast with small sail . It would go downwind like a rocket but we need to go about 15 degrees off downwind in order to stay close to the barrier reef and the island we were headed to .

A snorkel stop was followed by a lunch stop ( table in 18" of water ) . We had all our gear onboard also . One couple tipped and spent an hour in the water until they eventually got rescued by a boat called out from the resort . They were rather incompetent and also didn't listen. They didn't seal their hatches or dry bags properly so once tipped they double kayak had no flotation .

Snorkeling 30:00 [3] 0.5 mi (59:59 / mi)

Snorkelling before lunch . Strong current flowing across the reef.

Mnoc RiverBend rogaine 90 minutes . A little snow crusty in spots . Went clockwise round the park with goal of getting one control every 3 minutes (26 controls 90 mins) to keep an eye on if I was going to clear the course . Got 10 in26:42 and then 20 in 57:02 so new that was probably on for clearing them all so went for it and finished with 8 mins to spare . Julia had similar route and was a minute or two behind
