St Croix - Hwy 77 Theyers Landing to Norway Point (gage at 4.72) . Had to take shelter about 4 miles in due to heavy thuderstorms wih lightning and driving rain. Sun came out again about an hour later and it was very pleasant the rest of the way.
Good upper body work out. Stronger in shoulders this year due to all the swimming (can realtively easily lift my red kayak overhead and onto the car). Hopefully this cross helps next Sat at 2.2mi Lake Superior swim.
St Croix State park was still closed so only saw 1 other boat the whole 14 miles and didn't see anyone by the river in the park . Ten's of Thousands of trees down in the park and surrounding area.
