MNOC sprint- fast run - a little thick in places. Sometimes one got lucky and found a deer trail sometimes not through the green. Got going by memory and thinking 2 controls ahead (which way around hill) .. so headed for #8 after #6 ....blew off # 7 (duh!) ... so had fast time (fastest runner on 3 legs) but MSP for # 7 ...oh well.

Orienteering long (6 hr rogaine) 5:32:00 [3] *** 28.0 km (11:51 / km) +500m 10:53 / km
spiked:12/14c shoes: Salomon Wings

MNOC 6 hr rogaine at Jay Cooke State Park. Warm and humid. Jerritt was my partner for 2008. Good strong start . At 2 1/2 hrs+ we had progressed to the far SE of the park and had amassed 10 pts out of the 22.(#11,12,13,16,15,14,7,8,9,10). Hard work off trails with fairly thick (but short) undergrowth and rough footing. Long trail slog with cramping back from SE to #19 and swinging bridge and water plus N side of park (#2,1,3) and we called it quits with 28 mins to go.
