Georgia Nav Cup green X day 2 . Good run . Overshot by ~ 50 m a couple of times so approx 1 min of errors total , a good run , lots of hills , day 2 place 3rd , and combined placing of 3rd out of 15 on M50+

Went on a pilgrimage with Pete "Bubba" Curtis to Stone Mountain. Feeling lazy so we took the aerial tram up (great view from the top) and walked back down (825 ft vertical). Paid suitable homage to Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson and the boys .

Good day1 run at Georgia Navigator Cup; trying to run cautiously and make no major mistakes . Lots of hill climbing. One 4-5 min error (went down parallel reentrant) but rapidly recovered from it. Otherwise read the terrain well and stayed in contact with map. Cool day around 45 deg. 3rd place on M50+

Sprint at GNC . Veg a little thick in spots. Good conservative run. Could have planned ahead a bit more. Also took extra 20 seconds a couple of times to locate the control (hidden about 10 m away)

Warm weather 50 deg F not a cloud in the sky, nice open woods on the preview course at Clay Hill at Sweetwater state park , GA. Done with 3m work stuff and got to the meet site early enough for a run. Went round the practice course 2.5 times to get into the map before the main competition on Sat

Short swim at hotel in Augusta before breakfast
