Frauenlauf Bern - 9th overall and 4th in W20

The start was bad, because the leader car did not start and some runners ran and some including me stopped confused - I thought we had to restart - so I lost some 10 sec to the first runners. After that I ran a very controlled race. I tried not to push too hard the first half, and think I managed to keep almost the same speed from start to finnish. Nice experience to run my first 10km street race, but difficult to know how good it was because of all the ups and downs and because the route was new. Anyway satisfied with sub40 min, but in a flat 10km race I should be able to run a bit faster.

Long run/hike from Schwanden and up at the Sigriswilgrat. Decided not to run all the way to the peak (Sigriswiler Rothorn) to maybe catch the next bus in Schwanden. But when we started to run down from the mountain we got trouble with snow which was dangerous/risky to pass, so we had to turn - twice. The 3rd optioned went well, but we used almost 90 min more than we had planned, and missed the last bus from Schwanden home with 1(!!) min, we saw it leave.... A friendly man drove us down to the lake of Thun and from there we could catch a bus.
