Euromeeting Sprint. The race was bad. I started by searching control nr 1 (24 sec lost to best split), then I had a good period until control 7. To the 8th control I take the slowest route and make a big parallel mistake and loose almost 1 min to best split time. After that I ran ok, but to the 13th I run bad into the control, running past where I wanted to run, and my route choice was maybe also not the best. Loosing around 15-20 sec more.... In the end I was 1:44min behind the winner.

Euromeeting Middle Distance. Start slow, and make a mistake to the 2nd control. After that I run better, but do several bad route choices and hesitate into some of the controls, and overall I am too slow technically compared to the best runners. Disappointed, but it is how it has been lately when I return from Switzerland with just little or no pre-training to "re-learn" the scandinavian orienteering technique.
