Lost Trail course. Simply wanted to beat my PR. After half a mile, I was still even with my ghost, but he gave up and was eventually eleven seconds behind before I beat him by eight. Top 5% overall and age group. Still first all-time at the Y (out of 53), roughly doubling the margin over second place. P:268; C:58.

Went out strong and just tried to maintain a steady pace. Beat my PR by 28 seconds. Top 5% overall and age group. First all-time at the Y (out of 50) by fourteen seconds. [Had been fourth by the very same fourteen seconds.] P:268; C:56.
