Ironhorse Rush course
Got the bad bike so the goal was under 20 minutes, not an actual PR. (Compared to a week ago, this would be a slightly more challenging goal.) Knew that I could lose 10 seconds/mile to my ghost so I had two measures of progress. Stayed barely on pace or a bit behind, relying on the last downhill to "fix" it. Quantity of sweat suggests power number is understated. Top 15% overall; top 25% age group (missed top 20% by three seconds); still second all-time at the Y by sixteen seconds (that record might have been in jeopardy on the fast bike) out of 21 even though this ride as only 4th.
