I'm finally learning my way around this one. It's worth climbing the blue hill for an easy 50,000 points. Third out of thirteen overall; tops out of five in age group! One and only all-time at the Y. P:127; C:50.

Instructor wanted to show us new stuff, but was so confused that we spent most of the class figuring out what to do next. Great idea; horrible execution.

Odyssey course

Had the easy (first) goal of breaking 30 minutes, but the more real goal of improving on the PR (25:15) or even breaking 25 minutes. Opened up over ten seconds on my ghost early so it seemed possible, but he closed to within three seconds before I found my energy (desire?) and pulled away again to take him by 34 seconds. Top 15% overall; top 20% age group. The funny thing is that the web site says that 25:15 wasn't my PR at all and that my 24:18 was my (and the Y's) all-time best. Interesting, 24:41 ties for 2nd all time (out of fourteen). P:225; C:58.
